Recommendations

AO Easy Answers: 4.1
Overview
When users use the Easy Answers functionality in the AO Platform, the Recommendations feature will automatically be at work behind the scenes putting the “most liked” dashboard elements to the top of what the user will see. A few prerequisites are needed, however, before Recommendations will be enabled:
The user has to enable the Recommendations in User Settings. See User Settings.
Users have to up/down-vote dashboard Apps while using Easy Answers.
Recommendations may not be immediately available. The AO Platform has a background process that by default looks at user sentiments once a day. This recurrence can be changed if recommendations need to be more timely during the day.
Once the user has clicked to up/down-vote an App, the Feedback dialog opens to allow the user to provide either positive or negative feedback.

The Recommendations are generally based on the “most liked” criteria as relating to the Role profile that individual users are associated with. In other words, if a user is associated with the Role profile of “Sales”, then dashboard elements that have been “liked” by other “Sales” users will be shown at the top of the dashboard items. However, another user who may be associated with the Role profile of “Finance” will only see recommendations from other users belonging to the “Finance” Role.
