Easy Answers page

  • Annotating Word in Question - new Topic Rule-based Value when adding Synonym from Annotating an NLQ.

  • Much improved implementation of Easy Answers used in “AI Enhanced” mode. This means that all Easy Answers questions will be taking help from a Generative AI LLM service, such as OpenAI to improve the interpretation of user questions and the ultimate translation and validation through advanced LLM prompts. This leads to a better understanding of more complex questions and ultimately optimizing the responses on the Easy Answers Results page. Some key features related to “AI Enhanced” mode:

    • Improved user interaction - the user will be prompted to clarify anything that is not understood in a user question, including selecting from possible suggestions, such as available properties, or values for properties.

    • Provide feedback - the user will be able to use Thumbs up/down to more easily influence future LLM related responses.

    • The Chatbot now supports replies to previous questions - forming separate threads.

    • Two additional entries will be available in the Options menu:

      • Explain Query Reasoning - a dialog that shows the “chain of thought” for why LLM responded to the query. See Explaining Query Reasoning.

      • View Sourcing Information - a dialog that shows sourcing information for the generated query (data lineage). This is especially useful if federated data sources are configured. See Viewing Sourcing Information.

    • For some complex/advanced questions that cannot be fully validated/resolved, the user may receive an “AI Response Table” instead of the usual results page of Apps. Such AI Response Tables can be converted into XY Charts using the Customize App feature.

  • Table Apps - if enabled in MSO Composer, it’s now possible to view the GEOM property in tables as proper coordinates.

Content Repositories

  • Improved search performance and results across large amounts of documents due to improved indexing and Entity Extraction functionality. See Search in Content Repositories.
